Next-Gen Aerial Systems
Bucket Dynamics engineers modular drone platforms built from carbon fiber 3D printed frames, lightweight, strong, and designed to be reconfigured for any mission.
About Us
Bucket Dynamics is a high school engineering project built around one idea: drones shouldn't be locked into a single purpose. Every part of our platform (sensors, payload, power) is designed to snap in and out so you can change the setup without starting over.
The frame is 3D printed using carbon fiber filament, keeping it light without sacrificing strength. We designed and built everything from scratch.
3D printed with carbon fiber filament, strong, lightweight, and fully custom designed by our team.
Swap attachments in under 90 seconds. No tools, no rewiring.
Every component was designed, printed, and assembled by our team.
IP55-rated housing keeps electronics protected in rain and dust.
Products & Modules
We're in the prototyping phase, building a platform where new modules can be added affordably, without replacing the whole drone.
The main body is 3D printed using carbon fiber reinforced filament. It's significantly lighter than standard PLA while being stiff enough to handle motor vibrations and minor impacts.
The frame has a central attachment point where different modules lock in. You can switch between payload types in about 90 seconds without tools or rewiring anything.
A lightweight camera bracket that clips onto the module dock. Designed to reduce vibration blur during flight. Compatible with small action cameras and phone mounts.
A servo-triggered release mechanism that can carry and drop small payloads. Useful for demos and testing. Rated for up to 3kg with the frame balanced properly.
A clip-on secondary battery that increases flight time from around 20 minutes to 45 minutes. Attaches to the underside of the frame without affecting the center of gravity much.
We're currently in the prototyping phase and designing new modules all the time. The whole point of building a modular system is that anyone should be able to add onto it, affordably, without needing to buy a whole new drone.
